I’m extatic right now. My almost 4 year old just read me this entire book. 
It’s called “The Show-and-Tell Show-Off” By Tracey West and it’s 32 pages long. I helped him with this list of words, but once I said the word once, he knew what it was later in the story: Lucy, picture, around, laughed, anything, wrong, through, and friend. There are a ton of bigger words (not 3 letter ones) in this book and I was amazed that he could read so much. I haven’t worked with him in a while, and he’s learned so much since the last time I really worked with him. I’m guessing he is getting a lot of it from Laiken because she loves to read, and is always reading to him. The 3 of us (Laiken, Sawyer and I) sat down for bedtime and when he finished this… she was jumping up and down screaming “YAYYY SAWYER, THAT WAS EXCELLENT, I’M SO PROUD OF YOU!!!” LOL She even picked him up of the floor and gave him a huge hug. TOO DAMN CUTE!

This is sad. It’s January 18th and it’s been so warm, that today was the first day I’ve seen a bird in my feeder. The average temp last year (per my latest electric bill that came yesterday) was 29, this year it was 40. The past few days have been chilly (anywhere from 0 degrees F to 25 or so).
